This stockwhip has the finest balance of any cowhide whip we have tried and the workmanship is top notch. The 6 1/2 thong is 4 plait latigo with a whitehide fall. The turned ash handle is 19 inches long for an excellent match between handle and thong. It has a rawhide core to maintain the "life" a cowhide whip quickly looses, so it will feel more like your finer kangaroo whip. We have been very impressed with the handling, quality, and durability of this whip and know you will be as well.
